Lord Hill Espresso: Your Go-To Spot for Exceptional Coffee in Monroe

I usually LOVE this espresso stand, but whoever was the barista today was just not it. I asked for a matcha lemonade, which is a pretty common matcha drink so I didn't think there would be issues, and she made it with MILK so I drove away with essentially a cup of inedible yogurt. I went back to have her remake it and let her know that it's supposed to be made with water, not milk, thinking that maybe she was just new or something, no big deal. But when I got my remake, she added less milk, but there's obviously still milk in there because it's so curdled it looks like toxic brain matter. I don't know if they maybe use a matcha latte mix instead of just matcha, but if they do the barista should know that so when you order and specify no milk they can let you know so you don't end up with something disgusting or even a massive allergy attack!!! Very disappointed and pretty upset it took my whole lunch break so I can't even go back to get a refund or a normal lemonade since she can't get this right.

The best drive through stand in Monroe. The baristas are always so accommodating and provide the best customer service! I’ve been going here daily for 7+ years and can’t imagine going anywhere else !

Well butter my biscuit and call me jittery — this here Lord Hill Espresso is somethin’ else! I rolled up in my ol’ Ford thinkin’ I just needed a caffeine fix, but daggum, I got a full-blown revival in a cup. That espresso hit harder than my uncle Darryl’s moonshine on a cold February night. Smooth, strong, and fancier than my Sunday boots. The folks workin’ there? Friendlier than a possum at a picnic.

This place is a few mins from my house. There are 3 more drive though coffee places in that neighborhood. It seems like more people prefer to get their drinks at Lord Hill espresso. I tried coffee at Lord Hill a couple times. The coffee was great and customer service is good. I would recommend this place.

HUGE SHOUTOUT to Gabby and Savannah! I forgot to replace my debit card due to fraudulent charges and when Gabby ran my card, it came up as declined. Both Gabby and Savannah were so sweet, they offered to use a stamped punch card to pay for my drink, when they didn't have to do at all. Their kindness went a long ways today for me, thank you again for the wonderful service! Savannah - the coffee you came up with was arguably a top 5 tier for me! I wish I remembered what it was but I'll be back again when I'm in the area!!

I got a frozen hot chocolate since I can’t drink coffee while pregnant. It was so delicious! The barista was super friendly and did a great job, my husband and I had a nice experience here.

The girls know how to prepare the coffee to perfection and they are very friendly.
